This course is a free webinar for attorneys, conducted by experts at the National Veterans Legal Services Program (NVLSP) on pro bono representation of veterans and their survivors, before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC). It will provide you with a basic understanding of the substantive and procedural rules needed to handle and win an appeal to the CAVC of a claim for disability benefits that has been finally denied by the Department of Veterans Affairs. By registering and attending, you will be placed on the contact list that NVLSP will use to request pro bono assistance on a CAVC appeal that is proceeding to the briefing stage. If you agree to take the case, you will be partnered with an NVLSP attorney, pro hac vice.

Reserve your spot by completing the RSVP. Materials and instructions on accessing the webinar will be sent to you on July 29, one day before the presentation.
